A K Ramanujam, iyengari brahmin from mysore wrote an essay about the 300 different versions of the ramayana. He proved to the world that the brahmin ramayana of valmiki is not the only version. There are several other versions including some oral narratives of tribes who are dalits. The manuwadis are now concerned becauses they only want one version of ramayana. A ramayana where rama killed the dalit shambuka, just because he recited the rotten vedas. Manuwadis got the ramayana essay banned from delhi university.
We at dalitnation always say throw ramayana to the dustbin. It is a bunch of castesist trash which is the bane of indian soceity. We should even throw all the 300 different versions of ramayana to the dustbins. Why should students in the university study this casteist text. Make babasaheb’s book ‘riddles in hinduism’ as mandatory reading in university. Down with ramayana including the iyengari’s essay.

The institution of religion in India is nothing but an instrument of suppression of the so called lower castes. A religion which cements itself on the premises of inequality among people would inevitably have a literature which does nothing else but legitimizing the authority of Brahmans over the working class on the basis of ‘purity’ and knowledge.
No matter how many Ramayanas exist, all that matters is that who’s children are begging in streets just because they were not allowed to change the profession of their father.

Why hate Ramayana. Why would brahman like to deify Rama???. Rama has been mentioned in the vedas and puranas an Avatar hence deified. Valmiki Ramayan is the most authentic and the best Ramayana since the events have been recorded as it is. As for Shambuka from Uttara Kaand. Uttara kaand is an interpolated Kanda hence can’t be taken into account.

well guys…..i dont see why u people are demonizing the brahmins(like all they have done is suppress the masses)….n let me assure you, Hinduism if followed in the right way, is a way of life, not religion, differences among people have always existed,on the basis of color,caste,etc…but criticizing a certain group is not the answer….especially the brahmins who have contributed significantly towards the Indian growth story

Ramnuan’s essay desrves to be banned. Ramanujan wants to take away the credit of writing original Ramayan by Valmiki. This reflects the castiest mindset, which can not digest that a dalit Valmiki should get place of reverence among caste Hindus. There may be reasons to argue against Valmiki Ramayan for some descriptions by him here and there, but this does not give licence to others to discredit him.

We must read and understand the Sanskirit ‘ s ancient literature which was banned for the Adi-Bahujans since centuries . Swami Achhutanand (06.05.1879-22.07.1933) and Adi-Baba Mangu Ram Muggowalia (14.01.1886-22.04.1980) read these Sanskrit literature ‘s translated versions and found our heroes and they awakened our people by writting books before 1930 A.D. in Hindi and Punjabi respectively . Later Dr. Ambedkar (14.04.1991-06.12.1956) also awakened the masses by writting the Riddles of Hinduism published posthumously . Hence we should read and understand this ancient literature to find our ancient heroes who fought against the Indo Aryans instead of throwing in the dust bin (s) . Dr. Ambedkar claimed in the parliament that the Ramayna by Adi-Bhagwan Valmiki and the Mahabharat by Adi-Bhagwan Ved Vyas were written by the shudras / Adi-Bahujans and he ashamed the Hindus in the same speech that then the Indian Constitution was also written by him . Hence we should refer to these scriptures to expose the Hindu Gods how they were the rapists , racists and fascists ! ! !
