Have heard xtians say that meditation is the way of satan; and therefore they condemn it. To them anything that deals with the state of consciousness that can be altered means allowing the devil to come in. Misguided as they are, they fail to see reason that salvation has nothing to do with baptizment nor sunnat. Dalit Nation is doing a good job by exposing S.N. Goenka since Vipassana is a fraud. I’m interested in the subject because I attended a Vipassana course in Sweden in 2005 but quit after four days since in my view it was too cultish. For instance we had to chant “well said, well said, well said”(sadu, sadu, sadu) in the beginning of each meditation session after Goenka’s song. This might seem harmless but it is actually a typical psychology used by cults and salesmen to get the victim to agree to something harmless in the beginning and llater make him/her agree with more and more. We had to listen to Goenka’s long and extremely tedious lectures every evening after ten hours of meditation. Its only purpose was to slowly control our mind. All in all, it was a lot of talk before the course but how beautiful this organization was, how non-profit, how detached it was from any kind of religion etc. I just got the sense after a while that this wasn’t really the case. They weren’t 100% truthfull. I didn’t like Goenka either. So, I decided to quit the course. If he is preaching Brahminism which is harmful to the Untouchables, I am very sorry for this. He has earned millions at the cost of Buddha Dharma.

You have no understanding of Swami Vivekanada. Swamiji was the greatest exponent of Bagwath Geetha. It was Swamiji who wrote the commentaries on the four yogas (Bhakti, Jnana and Raja ) as found in the Geetha. Please read the Complete works of Swami Vivekanada to understand the highest regard this exponent of Vedanata had on the Geetha.
Vivekananda once said mere book learning is useless. It is better to play football and improve your health than reading holy scriptures like Geetha. I’d say Tathgata Gautama Buddha did not find anything in meditation since he did it for six years without taking meal and water too. But once he was sitted under the Piple tree and he found “Gyan” and later called as “Buddha”. He also disregarded the existence of soul. Therefore, I recommend the meditation is not for Dalit and Bahujan. Brahmins and Baniya are the real intruder and misguider. There is no way to stop this. This infact is healthy for a society, so that an individual has several options to choose and consider pros and cons.

Right now I am unable to purchase the said books but I will definitely do that soon.
I woudl appreciate if you can spare some time to educate me on the Babasaheb’s views on Meditation since I personally feel that Meditation is good for an individual’s health as well as mind if it is done at home and alone. But am against the Vipassana method being used by these people. They do not have any moral right to use Buddha’s name without following his teachings in real meaning. They say that Buddha is Vishnu’s avatar but his teachings are not to be followed. I am surprised to see that they are following Meditation (according to themselves) and not his teachings. What a double standard they are following.

On 28th August , Sant Bishambar Das Shastri of the Adi-Guru Kabir Smadhi Sthal ,Adi-Guru Kabir Chaura , Maghar District Sant Kabir Nagar ( U.P.) visited our home .He is very learned . He recited a couplet of Adi-Guru Kabir that my mind is as transparent as the water of the river Ganges , even the God is behind me and recites Kabir Kabir .Adi_Guru Ravidas also said that if our mind is right then the pious river Ganges is even in the cobbler`s earthen vessel !
Adi-Guru Dhanna Jatt throw away the string of beads saying that he could not meditate being starved !!!!! Guru Nanak also said that the mind is equal to God . Dr. Ambawdekar@ Dr. Ambedkar applied his mind to liberate the aboriginal Indians from the manuwadi system .The meditation of closing eyes and sit idle can not liberate you socially,economically !!!!!

CBI probe in PF scam must be thorough
The Supreme Court has rightly asked the CBI to investigate the multi-crore Ghaziabad Provident Fund scam allegedly involving 34 judges, including one Supreme Court and as many as 11 high court judges. The fact that the Bench headed by Justice Arijit Pasayat has directed the CBI to file a status report before it within three months suggests the apex court’s determination to get to the bottom of the case and ferret out the truth before taking further action. Indeed, following the PF scandal, the image of the judiciary has hit a new low because this is for the first time that a large number of judges have come under public suspicion. Shockingly, between 2003 and 2007, over Rs 23 crore was siphoned off by the officials from the general provident fund of Class III and IV employees of the Ghaziabad court. The money was allegedly used to procure expensive gifts such as television sets, air-conditioners, sofa sets and provide other services to judges and court officials across the country. If it turns out to be true, it will be a shame.
Significantly, in the past few weeks, Chief Justice K.G. Balakrishnan has been playing a pro-active role to stem the rot in the higher judiciary. Very recently, he had written to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh recommending the impeachment of Justice Soumitra Sen of the Calcutta High Court. As court receiver, Justice Sen had reportedly collected Rs 24.57 lakh between 1993 and 1995 and had transferred the entire money to his personal account. On the cash-at-door scam in Chandigarh, too, Justice Balakrishnan gave the green signal to the CBI to question a couple of judges to find out who was the High Court judge for whom Additional Advocate General of Haryana sent a packet of Rs 15 lakh. One of the judges, Ms Nirmal Yadav, was asked to go on leave soon after the scandal burst out causing shock waves.
For the CBI, the PF scam and the cash-at-the-door scandal are major assignments requiring thorough investigation into the two serious cases involving judicial corruption. The confessional statement of Ashutosh Asthana, who was in charge of the Ghaziabad district court treasury, under Section 164 Cr PC will be important in the probe because he has supplied all the vouchers, receipts and original bills to expose the unholy nexus between the lower court staff and the judges under cloud. Hopefully, the CBI will do its job fairly without succumbing to pressure from any quarter because it is on the basis of its report that the Supreme Court will decide the nature of further actions which in turn might set precedents.

India’s image takes further beating
With its economy growing at 8 per cent and an entry into the world’s nuclear club in the offing, it was expected that India, which was ranked the 72nd last year in the Corruption Perception Index, would redeem its position somewhat. But nothing of the sort has happened. In fact, exactly the opposite has taken place. It has now slipped to the 85th place on the index released by Transparency International. That was quite inevitable, considering the way wads of notes were waved during the trust vote of July 22 in the Lok Sabha, which is better remembered as a cash-for-votes ignominy. But that is not the only factor. Politicians have contributed in general too, and so have the babudom, the police and the judiciary. Since many of the recent events have not been taken into account, it would be no surprise if India’s image becomes more smudged, what with money being delivered to the house of even High Court judges.
Some may try to take some comfort from the fact that the neighbours are even more deeply sunk into corruption. Sri Lanka (92), the Maldives (115), Nepal (121), Pakistan (134) and Bangladesh (147) are all in worse shape than us. But then Bhutan is several notches better at the 45th position. The 72nd slot that we occupied till last year has now gone to China. In any eventuality, we are very low in the world estimation because of corruption.
The most corrupt is Somalia with rank 180. On the other end of the scale are the honest: Denmark, New Zealand and Sweden, which jointly share the first position as the least corrupt. These are followed immediately by Singapore, Finland, Switzerland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Australia and Canada. It is in the latter direction that India has to move. Among many things need to be done to earn better reputation for the country are: The Right to Information Act is put to good use and the long-pending pieces of legislation like the Corrupt Public Servants (Forfeiture of Property) Bill should be passed and MPs, MLAs and judges found corrupt weeded out of the system. India’s tragedy is that coalition era politics and blind rat race have led to greater erosion of values. The rot that is set in must be stopped.

This is universal fact that Tathagat have not taught meditations. S. N. Goinka’s Vipshyana is an evil practice to opress the dalits and bahujan. One should have an intelligence to observe this intrigue. We have always been trapped by the Brahmin from thousands of years. Still we are going to close our eyes by accepting Vipashyana while Buddha said to open your eyes and look around you what happens and guess and understand by all sense. Practically, eyes have a great effect on our mind. The picture we see is directly sent to our mind to understand. In short, when our eyes are closed, our mind is active but does not react to the activities that happen around us because we can not see it without open eyes.

He told me that I wrote against him .I said that I never wrote against anybody personally except his views and actions regarding the public . He told that someone in the foreign country informed him about my views . He applauded my fight against the evil followers of the rapist , racist and fascist Gods .
Mr. Sidhu is at present an ambedkrite Buddhist . Before this , he was a follower of the Radha Soami sect . I asked his email address so that I may send him the article published in the https://dalitnation.wordpress.com and my comments regarding Mr. Goenika`s Vipasna .He said that he had no email address till date . I invited him to express his views .
I reminded him that he published remarks against the Mandal Commission Report in his monthly magazine . I also informed him that another ambedkrite Buddhist Dr. Surendra Ajnat ( a brahmin by birth ) also wrote a letter against the Mandal Commission Report in the Hindi Sarita fortnightly . He admitted but he did not feel sorry . At the same time of implementation of the Manda Commission Report by the V.P. Please listen carefully. If you hate Hindus(upper caste as per your definition) it is absolutely fine. But why do you want to fall prey for christianity or islam or buddhism or whatever. Have your own identity. Have a religion of your own called ‘Dalit’. Dalit in fact has so much of its own rich culture, values and traditions to offer to our country (or even for forming a religion of its own). Tribal groups of india have their own dances, music and singing styles. Tribal folk dances/music like tamate, dollu kunita, kansale, lavani etc are fast dying. We should protect them. Well, we(so called upper caste) have well saved traditional hindu cultures like yoga, carnatic music, bharathanatyam etc. but what are you doing?? I read the Times of India of 29th November , 2009 and I read the following news . In this news , I read that the lawyers of the manuwadi society held a seminar on judicial reforms at New Delhi and they threatened to boycott the Justice Dinakaran in the event of his elevation to the apex court..What did these lawyers of the manuwadi society when the Mid Day , Mumbai daily blamed with proofs that the erstwhile chief justice of India Mr. Aggarwal / Sabharwal did a corruption of Rs. one hundred crores ? The supreme court of India even punished the Mid Day’s reporters for contempt of court .The reporters of the Mid-Day asserted by claiming that they had the documentary proofs of corruption .
As Shahid-e-azam Sahib Kanshi Ram used to say that the manuwadi unconstitutional society`s rulers had two forces named army and judiciary to crush the democratic movements of the Bahujans . The manuwadis are afraid of the ex-untouchable judges in the apex court .
The manuwad lawyers passed a resolution ” The question is not whether the charges against the learned judge are correct or not, but whether the appointment of such a person whose integrity is widely perceived to be doubtful would affect the faith of the common man in this glorious institution’’.
We ask these lawyers about their integrity . They side the murderer persons for the sake of huge money in kind of fee . For example , there is court against Mr. Amrinder Singh , ex , CM of Punjab and Mr. Chowdhury Jagjit Singh ex Local self government minister of Punjab under one FIR lodged by the present Akali-BJP government at Ludhiana . The court at Ludhiana permitted bail to Mr. Amrinder Singh but the same court refused Choudhary Jagjit Singh . Choudhury`s counsel filed a writ petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court and complained that the lower court granted bail to Mr. Amrinder Singh but it did not grant bail to Choudhary Jagjit Singh . The High court then granted bail to Choudhary .
I issued a press release against this judicial injustice .It is shameful that no news paper dared to publish this judicial injustice because it would expose the injudicious minds of the judges .IT IS WORTH TO NOTE THAT CHOWDURY JAGJIT SINGH BELONGS TO A SCHEDULED CASTE .

|NEW DELHI: In an unusual display of assertiveness, the nation’s top lawyers berated the Supreme Court on Saturday for its prolonged indecision on whether chief justice of Karnataka high court, P D Dinakaran, could be promoted despite allegations of corruption and land grabbing.
At a seminar on judicial reforms, Fali Nariman, Soli Sorabjee, Ashok Desai and president of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), M N Krishnamani, debated whether lawyers should ‘‘boycott’’ Justice Dinakaran in the event of his elevation to the apex court.
Upping the ante, Nariman exhorted his fraternity to keep away from the benches of even the five seniormost judges of the Supreme Court who constitute the collegium that recommended his appointment. ‘‘People will spit on us if we don’t boycott the collegium members,’’ Nariman said.
Though a similar attempt earlier this month in Bangalore turned violent, the consensus that emerged at
the seminar organized by the Bar Association of India (BAI) was that the Supreme Court bar should resort to the boycott option if the collegium reiterated its recommendation to appoint Justice Dinakaran.
Given that the Dinakaran issue has been hanging fire for over two months, BAI adopted a resolution appealing to the collegium ‘‘not to proceed further’’ with their proposal to promote him and instead put an end to the controversy by announcing their decision to drop him.
‘‘The question is not whether the charges against the learned judge are correct or not, but whether the appointment of such a person whose integrity is widely perceived to be doubtful would affect the faith of the common man in this glorious institution,’’ the resolution said.
It was also decided that a delegation led by the chiefs of BAI and SCBA, Nariman and Krishnamani, respectively, would soon meet all the collegium members to convey the gravity of the bar’s concern about the Dinakaran issue.
While senior advocate P P Rao said that judges had ‘‘failed’’ to live up to the responsibility of selecting judges on merit, T R Andhiarujina went to the extent of saying that the collegium system instituted in 1993 should be ‘‘scrapped’’.

I m also from dalit community.I m 41yrs old and i m practicing vipassana from the age of 19yrs.But i fight with my boss and with ,system more confidently and feerlessly than my co worker who is actively involved in social causes(gathering).
And you cannot deny that buddha taught panchsheel but how can you practice this when you have no control over your mind .And through vipassana we take out uneasiness ( negativity) from our mind which is very tough work. When mind becomes peaceful it becomes stronger and stronger not weak.
I think we buddhist must do prayer, meditation daily.
Do uposatha on ashatami/full moon day/poornima .
We should practice dhamma.
And dhamma gives strenght not weakness
and makes our mind free.
I sometimes have dought than our people worship babasaheb ambedkar
but dont believe in his guru lord buddha.

This is the most uninformed article on meditation I have ever come across. Please wake up – even the west is studying meditation and beginning to realize its benefits of better relationships, happier minds, better abilities to study, better health. As Dalits and underprivileged, education of the mind and developing self-control of the mind is what will change things for the better. The Dalai Lama, who is a Buddhist authority, has established the Mind-Body Institute where scientific studies with many Nobel laureates and reputed scientists are establishing many new findings on the benefits of meditation.
Please do not become so blinded with hate that you cannot see things that are beneficial to your own selves. There have been problems but let us not make our hurt against social injustice make us reject our own good things.

He shall make friends with his peer groups in society. He shall build a house in the middle of the colony but not in the wada where their community lives. Its all in their earnings. Hope you follow this simple phenomena.
Stop fuming venom and learn how we all can coexist in society in peace. You want to follow Buddhism or Christianity or Islam Go ahead. By your going out greatness of this great culture does not diminish.

Dr Ambedkar in his great book BUDDHA AND HIS DHAMMA very clearly described what Buddhism is. More over this highest learned personality of the world never written a single word on vippashana in this book. This is the greatest testimony to the human kind. Nothing more is required to be proven that vippashana is any smallest part of Buddha teachings.

Im sorry.. Being a Dalit myself.. I must tell you.. Meditation is an enhancer.. It dont suppress energies or head in that direction.. It is rather finding the Modulus function (always positive) of your body to direct it to the worship of GOD to attain results. Simple as that.
