After messing up the government and public sectors the politicians are now after the IT sector. IT is proving to be a festering wound for all these ‘Intellectuals’ who claimed that the Brahmins and other so called upper caste are gone and finished. But politicians especially the dalit, leftists and the congress will push for it in the forthcoming general elections.
Also their ploy to control the education system through reservations was also scuttled in the late 80’s and 90’s with the advent of the private engineering and medical colleges in India. However they have done quite a damage by controlling most parts of the education system. In the globalized and information technology world education is something which will evolve to be easily obtained to internet and web connectivity. We can see many of the deprived upper castes can benefit through these channels.
